Big Idea — This series examines the birth of Jesus through the unique perspectives of Matthew, Luke, and John, which paint a beautiful picture of our savior.

• Week 1 — When the World Needed a King

Matthew’s story of Jesus’ birth and incarnation gives us a picture of Jesus that is regal, royal, and

kingly in every regard. Jesus was that king the Jewish people had prayed and longed for, for so long!

• Week 2 — When the World Needed Compassion

This lesson will focus on the narrative of Jesus’ birth and incarnation from the perspective of Luke.

Luke saw Jesus as a servant, full of love and compassion for the world.

• Week 3 — When the World Needed a Plan (That Worked)

In this lesson, we examine Jesus’ birth and incarnation through the eyes of John, the man who

saw Jesus for His role as the Word made Flesh. Jesus fulfilled all that was promised and operated

as the plan that God had been setting in motion from the moment sin came into the world.

• Week 4 — When the World Needed a Savior, Jesus Came!

This lesson will focus on the prophet Isaiah and all that he contributed to the story and messianic

role of Jesus.
